First aid courses designed for organizations and groups. Suitable especially for limited meetings, lunch or other educational activities such as health week, educational days and the like.
The instructors of the course are specially trained nurses with teaching qualifications from the Icelandic Red Cross. Participants receive a recognized certificate at the end of the course.

Occupational accidents and life-threatening incidents can occur in any workplace. Then it is important to have basic first aid knowledge as it is easier to respond seamlessly when minutes and even seconds can be crucial.
The main aim of the course is for the participants:
- Realize the importance of first aid
- Know the four steps first aid
- Know the right response to emergencies

Health protection can tailor courses according to the needs of the workplace but basic courses offered:
Resuscitation course (2 hours)
Aim for the participants to acquire skills in applying cardiac output and wheezing and to use cardiac resuscitators for resuscitation. Convenient course for those who have learned first aid before recommending continuing education every other year.
First Aid Course (4 hours)
The course is intended for those who want to learn or review the basics of first aid and psychological support to gain minimal skills in providing injured or ill assistance in urgent cases. The aim of the course is for participants to acquire basic skills in applying first aid and psychological support in emergencies.
First Aid Course (6 hours)
The course is intended for all those who want to learn first aid and resuscitation and acquire skills and knowledge in providing immediate assistance in urgent cases. The aim of the course is to provide participants with the knowledge and skills to use simple first aid methods and to identify the symptoms of common illnesses and injuries.
