The Online Healthcare Store offers individual tutorials and lectures, with start and end dates, and longer courses and lectures, which are then offered in a cycle that spans a certain number of times and hours.
Health protection reserves the right to cancel orders, for example due to incorrect price information and to change prices or stop offering product types without notice. This also applies if errors occur in the webstore's accounting rules.
Orders
Health protection accepts an order when payment has been received. As soon as payment is received, the buyer will send an email confirmation. The receipt is valid as confirmation of the purchase.
Payment
Online store products are purchased for cash. Health protection offers payment by credit card and debit card through secure payment page from Borgun.
We accept all credit cards. Payment will appear on your card statement in the same way as general store records.
price
All prices are published as Icelandic currency. Please note that the price of a product in the online store may change without notice.
Taxes and fees
All prices in the online store have VAT and invoices are issued with VAT.
Cancellations and Refunds
It is important to keep in mind, before paying for a product in a store, that the transaction is binding. Exceptional cases that may create refunds are; in the event of a sudden illness or serious event that makes the person unable to attend the course / lecture. You can request that the payment be transferred to the next course / lecture of the same type if the person is unable to attend the purchased course / lecture. If you wish to cancel or "return a product", they are welcome to send an email to fridur@hv.is
In other respects, reference is made to the Act on Housing and Teleshopping Agreements, no. 46/2000 and the Consumer Purchase Act no. 48/2003.
Confidentiality
The Health Protection is called the Buyer in full confidence about all the information provided by the Buyer in connection with the transaction. Information will not be disclosed to any third party under any circumstances.
venue
This agreement is in accordance with Icelandic law. If a case arises because of it, it shall be brought before the Icelandic courts. The provisions of the Act on Entrance and Distance Sales, no. 96/1992, the provisions of the Liquidity Purchase Act no. 50/2000 as applicable and the provisions of the Consumer Purchase Act no. 48/2003. All deadlines mentioned in Act no. 96/1992 begin to pass when goods are received. These Terms apply from March 1, 2019.
